SOOHO.IO and Chainlink Partner to Advance Digital Asset Use Cases in Asia

SOOHO.IO has entered a strategic partnership with Chainlink, a provider of essential infrastructure for the tokenized asset economy. The collaboration focuses on tokenized asset and central bank digital currency (CBDC) use cases in emerging digital markets across Asia, including Korea, Japan, and Thailand. Together, the partners aim to accelerate financial digital transformation and enable new services in the region.

SOOHO.IO: advancing blockchain innovation in Korea
Established in 2018, SOOHO.IO is a leading Korean blockchain company. Its proprietary digital asset technology platform, Touchstone, provides managed blockchain services tailored to institutions and enterprises.
Originally a blockchain security company, SOOHO.IO has expanded into infrastructure for blockchain finance and digital asset services. Its experience in Korea and other Asian markets includes collaboration with Samsung SDS, LG CNS, and the Financial Security Institute. Recent work has focused on CBDCs and real-world asset tokenization.
Touchstone helps customers manage the complexity of blockchain financial services while improving digital asset interoperability and cost efficiency.
Chainlink: infrastructure for global blockchain connectivity
Chainlink gives financial institutions, startups, and developers access to real-world data, offchain computation, and secure cross-chain interoperability.
At the time of this announcement, Chainlink infrastructure had enabled more than USD 15 trillion in transaction value and delivered over 12 billion onchain data points. Through work with institutions including Swift, ANZ, DTCC, and Fidelity International, it provides services designed to meet the requirements of traditional finance.
The platform supports tailored blockchain applications for the tokenized economy. It enriches assets with data such as net asset value (NAV) and reserve information, enables interoperability between supported public and private blockchains through the Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), and synchronizes asset data across blockchains and existing systems to maintain a Unified Golden Record.
Areas of technical collaboration
CCIP is a central part of the partnership. It enables secure transfers of data and value between blockchain networks and helps connect those networks with existing enterprise systems.
The partners also plan to explore use cases for Chainlink Proof of Reserve, including verification of reserves backing prepaid payments, to improve transparency and confidence in digital assets.
Another area of research is bringing real-time NAV data onchain to support more timely valuation and efficient management of tokenized assets.
What the partnership could enable
More efficient infrastructure could make existing financial services faster and more transparent. Cross-border transfers, for example, could become quicker and less expensive for individuals and businesses.
The collaboration could also support new regulated investment opportunities. Tokenization may enable fractional access to assets such as property and art and improve liquidity in markets that have traditionally been difficult to access.
Financial inclusion is another potential benefit. CBDCs and other forms of digital money could extend basic financial services to people who face barriers to opening conventional bank accounts.
SOOHO.IO and Chainlink aim to help build a faster, more secure, and more efficient digital economy. The partnership combines regional market expertise with global infrastructure to explore new possibilities for Asian financial markets.
