SOOHO.IO Signs Strategic MOU with Partior, the Global Unified Ledger Backed by J.P. Morgan and Temasek

Hello from SOOHO.IO.
We are pleased to share an important milestone in the global expansion of Partner Hub, our payment and settlement platform. SOOHO.IO has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with global settlement network Partior to develop cross-border payment and settlement infrastructure. Through this partnership, we plan to connect Korean financial institutions to an operational global payment network.
Partior: a global settlement network backed by J.P. Morgan, DBS, Standard Chartered, and Deutsche Bank
Partior is a global network that settles cross-border transactions in US dollars (USD), Singapore dollars (SGD), and euros (EUR) in real time. Its shareholders include DBS, J.P. Morgan, and Standard Chartered. The network processes commercial transactions for global systemically important banks around the clock, every day of the year.
Connecting Partner Hub to Partior’s tokenized deposit network
The agreement will connect SOOHO.IO’s Partner Hub payment and settlement platform to Partior’s tokenized deposit network, enabling settlement of cross-border transactions in multiple currencies. It establishes a foundation for linking Korea’s tokenized deposit infrastructure directly to global payment networks.
Partner Hub is a SaaS platform that helps businesses and institutions use tokenized deposits and other digital assets for transfers, payments, and investments without building complex infrastructure themselves. Ahead of its official launch next month, the platform supports 125 countries and 25 currencies, as well as trading in tokenized stocks and gold.
Ezys, the technology underlying Partner Hub, is an open network that compares exchange rates and transaction terms across global financial institutions to identify the best transaction route. Settlement takes place through global payment networks such as Partior.
Toward faster, more transparent cross-border settlement
Traditional cross-border transfers often pass through multiple correspondent banks, creating settlement delays and opaque fee structures. By using Partior’s tokenized deposit network, we aim to reduce these intermediary steps and enable real-time, lower-cost settlement across currencies.
Korea is also testing the use of tokenized deposits for cross-border payments. In May, the Bank of Korea participated in prototype validation for Project Agorá, a cross-border payment initiative led by the BIS and the Institute of International Finance. In July, it conducted live transaction tests using tokenized central bank reserves and deposits with five major commercial banks: KB Kookmin, Shinhan, Hana, Woori, and NH NongHyup. Against this backdrop, our agreement lays the groundwork for connecting Partner Hub to Partior’s private interbank tokenized deposit settlement network.
SOOHO.IO’s experience in digital currency infrastructure
SOOHO.IO has built experience in digital currency infrastructure through initiatives including Project Hangang, the Bank of Korea’s live CBDC transaction pilot. This agreement will help us provide an institutional-grade pathway for Korean financial institutions to extend their payment infrastructure into global markets.
“It is meaningful to have established this agreement after identifying both technical and commercial opportunities with Partior, which is redefining global finance,” said Jisu Park, CEO of SOOHO.IO. “Together with Korean commercial banks, we will work to build a global financial pipeline that enables fast, secure clearing and settlement of tokenized deposits within a rigorous compliance framework.”
“Korea is at the forefront of digital financial innovation,” said Humphrey Valenbreder, CEO of Partior. “Connecting Partner Hub to a network that already settles commercial transactions will demonstrate that Korean banks can access infrastructure that is operating today, rather than waiting for future plans.”
Building better global settlement infrastructure
Our agreement with Partior is an important step toward connecting Korea’s tokenized deposit infrastructure to a global payment network. Through Partner Hub, SOOHO.IO will continue working to build faster, more secure infrastructure for global finance.
Thank you for following and supporting our progress.
